Children learn through a mix of piano playing, singing, rhythm games, movement, listening activities, and musical play, building real musical skills while keeping class active and fun.

PIANO LESSONS DESIGNED FOR YOUNG KIDS

Children ages 4 to 6 learn differently than older piano students.

Instead of sitting at the piano for an entire lesson, Piano Playground moves between short, engaging activities throughout the class.

Students will:

• Play rhythm games together

• Sing and move to music

• Learn finger numbers and keyboard patterns

• Spend time playing at their own piano

• Develop listening and ear-training skills

• Learn familiar songs

• Play music for their classmates

• Create rhythms and musical ideas of their own

Every class gives children a chance to move, play, listen, create, and make music.

REAL PIANO SKILLS AT THEIR OWN PACE

Piano Playground starts with simple concepts such as finger numbers, high and low sounds, rhythm, and finding patterns on the keyboard.

As students progress, they begin learning familiar songs, using all five fingers, recognizing notes, reading music, playing with both hands, and becoming more independent at the piano.

Each child can move forward at their own pace while still enjoying the fun and social experience of learning in a small group.
